Exercise Rehabilitation

The primary goal of rehab is to help you recover faster, prevent re-injury and develop resilience. While absolute rest and offloading may relieve symptoms, it often leads to loss of strength and fitness. An active approach to recovery incorporates a safe and effective exercise prescription to correct the issues at hand and improve long term outcomes.

*We have partnered with our local gym to enable you to utilise it when working with our rehab physio Jeremy Murray.

How is it applied?

  • Early stage rehabilitation: gentle exercise allowing for the damaged tissue to heal.

  • Mid stage rehabilitation: progressive loading to the muscles, tendons, bones or ligaments. This develops tensile strength producing a healed tissue that will be able to withstand the stresses and strains of everyday life and exercise.

  • Late stage rehabilitation: a strength and conditioning phase to improve your strength, flexibility and stamina to ensure the body is ready for pain-free daily movement and exercise.
